I really like this Teton landscape also. I like the composition, the way the path leads into the inner circle of the mountains. I'm trying to place the location. Is it near the Snake River Overlook?
Sandra, thanks for the compliment. I painted it from a reference photo. Unfortunately I've not yet been to this area in Wyoming.
You really must visit sometime. I have been going to Grand Teton National Park on summer vacations for many years- since I was 6 years old! It is uniquely beautiful. Now there are even grizzlies there which make it even more interesting. I just got a digital SLR camera and plan to spend my next vacation there trying to capture some of the scenery in photographs. I am not an artist at all, so really admire what you are doing.
