Yosemite Landscape

First painting with Golden "Open" paints. They dry a lot slower than regular acrylics. The bottom part of this is not as red as it looks.

Currituck Inlet

This is an inlet park area we frequent in the Outer Banks, NC. We've caught crabs under the bridge.

Lone Angler

Struggled early on with the greens. The angler in the ref photo was bigger, but somehow I painted him smaller.

Young Buck

First time using phthalo blue and I like the cool greens it creates. I added the background deer in. The foreground seems a bit flat, may add more grasses in.

Backyard Sunrise

This is 9X12 from a photo of the my back yard in Nov. at about 6am. The tree is a silver maple, days away from dropping all its leaves that have since raked up.
